Asoka Flowers | Handwoven Cotton | Ochre
HAND-DRAWN BATIK & NATURALLY DYED IN
GESIKHARJO VILLAGE, EAST JAVA.
Asoka flowers are small, tiny red flowers that grows wildly in Indonesia. It reminds us of our childhood days, the carefreeness of youth. It is a reminder to appreciate the little things in life - for they are the big ones.
The Ochre shade is achieved through sustainably sourced Mahogany wood, boiled overnight. It takes our craftswomen 3 days and 5 dips to achieve this shade.
Color and pattern variations may occur and are part of the charm of this handcrafted fabric. We love that one-of-a-kind-feel!
