There is no way to describe this dress but how special it makes you feel. The softness of the silk caresses your skin. The fabric flows like a dance with your every move. A dress for a woman who cares and knows her worth.

WHAT TO EXPECT
  • Easy to wear. We kid you not. Simply put it on over your head and tie the cute Obi-inspired belt. Life can be that simple.
  • Limited edition! The most delicate cherry blossoms hue, made possible from unwanted banana leaves. Surely a conversation starter ;)!
  • Hand-embroidered petals. Our Ibu-Ibu thought that this art piece will look even more delicate with embroidered flowers. So we listened to them, watching in awe as they hand-stitch each while singing a song in meditative flow.
  • Pockets. Always. Oh and side slits to make moving a breeze.
  • Long sleeves. Yes, finally a dress with full-length sleeves - we do listen ;) Our community simply cannot get enough of how flattering they look when they wear this dress. Roll up the sleeves to create a more relaxed look.

STORY

SERIBU BUNGA means one thousand flowers, an embodiment of our mission to empower 1,000 mothers in villages across Indonesia. These unique flowers are a reinterpretation of a forgotten Jasmine motif from Gesikharjo village that was used by mothers to pass down the tradition of Batik to their daughters.

Bananas did this. Did you know that banana trees can only grow fruit once? Afterwards, the tree becomes a waste in our food system. Incorporating local wisdom, we managed to turn this pollution into the most delicate pink, combining it with Sappan wood traditionally used in herbal drinks. Cleaning up the fashion industry has never looked so good!
