STORY
SERIBU BUNGA means one thousand flowers, an embodiment of our mission to empower 1,000 mothers to bloom through her craft. These unique flowers are a reinterpretation of a forgotten Jasmine motif from Gesikharjo village, a motif that was used by mothers to pass down the tradition of Batik to their daughters.
Each piece in this collection takes at least 30 days to craft by hand, using only plants, fruits and minerals to dye.

Finally received my throws, in Midnight and Sakura, after approx. 1 year of fangirling over them. Both of them were perfect in their own imperfections, and the fact that each piece comes with its own signed card from the artisan made them truly special. It rekindled my connection to home and acted as a small reminder of a good fight to promote causes like SukkhaCitta back in Indonesia. Well done and truly very happy with both throws. Special shout out to Mba Gita for making the entire purchase process super enjoyable (+ for answering ALL my questions like a pro!)

I got this from my husband as a talisman for the new year. We had a relatively hard experience and he told me he just wanted me to feel loved. And this Sylk Throw did exactly that. The color is so beautiful, slight imperfections but reading through the process of natural dye on their Instagram makes me value mine even more. Every time I wear it, I feel like I'm not alone. Connected to the women who made it with their hands, each flower drawn just for me. I wore it last night when I was journalling for this year's resolutions and I had to cry. I felt like I didn't need to keep striving, but I am enough. Thank you for making something so meaningful, it really came across.

The throw feels so incredibly soft. I got myself the color Blossom and I thought it will be too dark for my skin tone but turns out it is perfect and I think the natural color will just compliment every skin tone. I've been (secretly) eyeing the other colors too <3 <3
