KUPU - Bomber Jacket
Not your average bomber jacket. Flaunting the beauty of Batik Tulis as your second layer – to enhance your simple staples. Simply cool without trying too hard.
WHY SHE'S SO SPECIAL
- Traditional yet modern. When normally you'd think of zippers on a bomber jacket, this piece has the mother-of-pearl button openings instead, and yet she blends well with the batik patterns. Her silhouette is an ode to the more contemporary bomber style. Plus, she has that drawstring detail that flatters.
- Real Batik Tulis. Each line drawn by hand with hot wax to sustain our heritage and empower women in villages, not factories.
Sustainably made. Crafted with handwoven cotton that gets softer with every wear. Naturally dyed from plants to protect our rivers from toxic chemicals.
This piece is available in All Size.
Karis wears the bomber jacket in All Size. She is 164cm.
KUPU is a reminder to have courage. You were born with an innate power to create change, both in your life and in the lives of others. Be brave, even when you don't know the outcome. Break the armor - and let yourself be seen.

Love how this bomber keeps me warm in the cool temperature, albeit indoors under the air con - but it's also comfortable to wear outdoors when it gets breezy! Due to its oversized fit, it allows for more air flow when I fasten the buttons. Also love how the batik tulis piece radiates in the Mahogany Ochre color - and you can clearly identify the hand-drawn batik craft because you can see the patterns on the insides of the jacket too. This is something you wouldn't be able to see with screenprint batik. So, knowing that has made me more appreciative of the hard work that his been poured to the jacket <3
