SERIBU BUNGA - Silk Kain
An heirloom fabric that's as meaningful as it is versatile. Style its fluid silhouette elegantly draped over your shoulder, as a statement skirt, styled as a dress, or hung as an art piece. The perfect gift to mark your special moments. Until the day you'll pass it down to the next generation.
WHAT TO EXPECT
- Meticulously crafted. Our signature Eucalyptus Silk fabric features a luxurious satin finish that catches light differently on each side. Wears beautifully and drapes naturally on your skin. Slowly finished with hand-roll stitches.
- Rare and auspicious hue. Our red hue is crafted from the most delicate blend of three woods. Its deep burgundy carries the abundance of the Earth, evoking courage to embrace life as the adventure that it is.
- Real Batik Tulis. Each flower is by hand before each petal is painted with golden fruits, taking 30 days to finish. Its Pagi Sore design is inspired by our Ibus' tradition, where one fabric features 2 different sides. Giving you two looks when worn on different sides.
Ships February 9th, 2024.
SERIBU BUNGA is a reminder for hope. Jasmine flowers were used by mothers to pass on Batik craft to their daughters. A motif that was forgotten as they were forced to abandon their heritage in search of a better life. Today, they bloom once more in the homes of our Ibus in East Java. Each petal symbolises the regenerative power of many hands working together for our shared future.
