I loved the feel and texture of my Canang dew kebaya. I put it on for my cousins wedding today and never felt super wonderful since the fabric feels totally divine. Thank you for it!!!!
I absolutely love this coat! I visit Indonesian often for work so I'm aware of the kebaya. But this piece feels like a modern take of it which makes it so easy to wear everyday. I wear it as an outer for everything. Especially adore the color, it's like a warm brown meets grey and looks slightly different depending on the light. A reminder of the effort the women put into making it using natural dyes. Thank you for an amazing experience, will be back for more soon!
This is my second Sukkhacitta piece. I originally bought this in size S-M but the more fitted size gives a more formal look than what I preferred so I exchanged it for the M-L size (shoutout to Dea for the wonderful assistance and speedy service 👍🏻).
The M-L is a tad big on me esp in the sleeve and waist area (in 165cm/50kg) but it gives the perfect versatility I was looking for: casual look when paired with culottes and flats/sandals, but can also be easily dressed up with the right pairing of skirt and heels. The color I got is Malam, and the little patterns actually make the top more interesting because it’s not just plain black. I see myself wearing this a lot, which, coupled with the opportunity to support a great cause, makes the higher price tag worth it for me. Beautiful, beautiful kebaya and great job from the Ibus!

We're also so grateful that you find this top versatile and Ana will be so glad to hear this as we try to make sure that all our pieces are as versatile as possible, that it's easy to pair with different things and wear for various occasions.
We'll also make sure to give your thanks to the Ibus. They'll be very happy to know that you find their work beautiful and they would really appreciate the fact that you love MALAM. So thank you Devina for putting a smile on their faces!
Very versatile piece, I can wear it buttoned as a Kebaya top, casual with the matching Pagi travellers pants or other pants/culottes, as well as formal with skirt or kain. I like to wear it unbottoned as well for a more casual look. Easy to maintain although it's white, wash and dry easily. A very good buy, and I do prefer 'stronger' handwoven fabrics, but I love all Sukkhacitta's design and most of all, the values that underlay the whole concept of empowerment and giving back to the society and the environment. Kudos to the whole team, and the Ibus! 👍
