ANGKASA - Constellation Throw
The ANGKASA Throw is a work of artful intention. Reinterpreting the heritage Patola motif, our Ibus drew a constellation of 12 cosmological signs. A wearable reminder to reconnect with your purpose and North Star.
WHY SHE'S SPECIAL
- Effortlessly elegant. Its modern square cut with relaxed fit creates a beautiful draped shape. Light and delicate, you'll long to wear her everyday.
- Real Batik Tulis. Each star drawn by hand using heated beeswax on delicate and airy Eucalyptus fibre. A wearable heirloom to pass on through generations.
- Naturally dyed. Colored without chemicals, your piece is dyed entirely with Indigo leaves. The black hue takes many years to master. Each takes 27x dips and 20 kgs of leaves to craft. While the Porcelain white is the reverse process. What you see is white was fully covered in hot wax. Creating a subtle cracks that cannot be replicated by machines.
- The perfect gift. With complementary eco-giftwrapping.
STORY
ANGKASA reminds you to follow your North Star. Let the moon, the stars and the sky guide your steps. Follow what makes your heart sing instead of what is expected. Strong in your will, soft in your touch. Each invites you on a journey home, to the Universe within.

SAKURA pieces are so meaningful, a meaningful reminder to cherish the beauty of each day. They're absolutely beautiful, gorgeous to wear in any occasions, from a sunny day with fresh breeze on the beach to candlelight dinner with loved ones.
Bought myself presents to start a new year with meaningful cloths that bring impacts to society and environment. Amazing sylk throw and handwoven jacket. Thumbs up to Gita too for all her help 😊
What I find extra intriguing and special from this throw is actually the hidden mother-of-pearl buttons that I can fasten or unfasten depending how I want to style it. There are just so many ways I can wear it! As a kimono, check. As a scarf, check. And even as a hijab! I don't wear a hijab, but I've seen my friends tried it on as one and it makes me all the more fascinated by this piece. I love the subtle elegance that this throw brings, because I can wear a simple sleeveless top and a pair of pants underneath the throw and my style would still look somewhat more refined than usual.
I love my noir Angkasa throw, just arrived. The garment is soft to touch and beautifully inspiring to wrap myself in. Such an elegant and meaningful design, wearing stars the Ibus have created feels so uplifting ✨
